Todd and Blair: The Final Chapter
Todd and Blair:
The Final Chapter
Of
(One Very Unforgettable Romance)
Todd: You do something for me?
Blair: Again?
Todd: Not that. Well, maybe that. But...
Todd: You sing to me.
Blair: You want that song, that sappy Nat King Cole song that --
Todd: Not sappy.
Blair: Yes, it is.
Todd: You have a pretty voice. What?
Blair: Are you still afraid you're gonna lose me?
Todd: It's always been you and me, Blair. I love you.
Blair: I love you, too.
|
Todd: The whole time I was away from you, all I wanted was to get back to you....
And, here I am . . . Here I am!
Blair: You need to know, right here, right now - there is nobody that I trust more
than you.
The day that Todd and Blair met at Rodi's, they recognized that they were kindred spirits. They bonded on their disgust at being vulnerable.
And, Oh, how they hated that love song playing on the jukebox, "Unforgettable". They both knew that love was not what it was cracked up to be. In their reality, People who say they love you, leave; people who see your vulnerability, use you and people that you love, only break your heart.
After that meeting, they decided to form their own society, the society of "The Morally Baknrupt", which included "The Most Pathetic" game of one-up-man-ship.
The rest is history, history which includes love, loss, redemption, resurrection, children and Hope.
In the game of love, Todd and Blair are the "End Game" and neither of them ever forgot that song that was playing when they first met.
"If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story." - Orson Welles
(Let's stay together)
I'm, I'm so in love with you
Whatever you want to do
It's alright with me
'Cause you make me feel so brand new
I want to spend my life with you
Things just ain't the same, baby, since we've been together
Ooh, loving you forever
Is what I need
Let me be the one you come running to
I'll never be untrue
Ooh, baby, let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
Why somebody, why people break up?
Oh, turn around and make up
I just can't see
You'd never do that to me (Would you, baby?)
So to be around you is all I see
Is what I want us to
Let's, we ought to stay together
Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
Let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
